Joint Supplement Ingredients Explained

Ingredient lists can look persuasive, but the useful questions are what was studied, in whom, at what dose and with what level of certainty.

Botanicals and extracts

Herbal ingredients may contain many compounds, and one extract is not necessarily interchangeable with another.

Algae and mushrooms

Ingredients such as spirulina, chlorella and lion’s mane may have research in areas that do not establish a joint-specific benefit.

Combination formulas

When many ingredients are combined, you cannot simply add together separate ingredient findings and call the finished formula proven.
