Flexibility vs Mobility: What’s the Difference?

Flexibility describes how much a muscle or tissue can lengthen; mobility is broader and includes usable movement through a range of motion.

Why the distinction matters

You can be flexible but lack control or strength in a range, or be strong but limited by stiffness.

Train the quality you need

Stretching, strength work, balance and task-specific movement can all play different roles.
